Theatre 98, 151 S. Church St. in Fairhope, has a lot happening. “Picnic,” written by William Inge and directed by Jonne Thornton, will be staged June 15-17, 20-24. All showtimes are 8 p.m. daily, Sundays at 2:30 p.m. Tickets are $10 for students and $15 for adults.

Theatre 98 will be conducting open auditions-blind casting for Hamlet, by William Shakespeare and directed by Brent Murrill, June 17 and 18, at 7 p.m. at the theater. Be a part of this powerful play, still relevant after 400 years. Males and females, ages 16-80, are needed, but no experience is neccessary. Performance runs Aug. 24-26, 29-31, Sept. 1-2.
