Inez Bailey Zehner, 101, born in Evergreen and a resident of Bay Minette, died Monday, Dec. 30, 2013 at Mobile Infirmary Medical Center.
She was a retired teacher for the Baldwin County Board of Education.
She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Bay Minette, where she was the oldest active member.
She is survived by one son, Charles Walter Zehner of Bay Minette; one daughter, Ann Zehner (Donald E.) Reed of Tupelo, Miss.; four grandchildren, Lauren Ann Smith, Angeline Eliza Gardner, Charlotte Emerson Burke and David Brian Gardner; eight great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Graveside services and burial will be held Saturday, Jan. 4, 2014, at 2 p.m., at Bay Minette Cemetery, with the Rev. Stewart Clark officiating.
The family will receive friends at Norris Funeral Home in Bay Minette on Saturday, Jan. 4, 2014, from 11 a.m. until the 2 p.m. graveside service.
Although the family will accept flowers, they suggest memorial contributions be made to the First Presbyterian Church, P.O. Box 1508, Bay Minette, AL 36507.
