Inaugural Baldwin County Cowfest set for April 18 in Robertsdale

Posted

Baldwin County will host its inaugural Cowfest on April 18 at the Baldwin County Coliseum, offering free admission and parking for attendees.

The festival, which runs from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., aims to bring the community together and eventually raise funds for scholarships for graduating seniors.

The day will feature a variety of activities for all ages, including dwarf goat roping, a steer show, dancing horses, a petting zoo, children’s games, and arts and crafts. Guests can also explore an antique tractor show and meet representatives from the Robertsdale Volunteer Fire Department and the Alabama Department of Conservation, a state agency.

Some attractions, such as the petting zoo, will require a small entry fee, including a $5 fee to pet the animals. Donations to support the festival are welcome.

Local businesses and individuals interested in sponsoring the event can choose from three sponsorship levels. For more information, contact Eugene Fernandes at (858) 663-1379 or via email at eugenefernandes11@outlook.com. The Baldwin County Coliseum is located at 19477 Fairground Road.
