GULF SHORES, AL - The City of Gulf Shores would like to make all residents and visitors aware that construction has begun on the much needed improvements to Clubhouse Drive at Highway 59.
These improvements include widening Clubhouse Drive to 3 lanes from West First Street to 200 feet east of Highway 59, new sidewalks and minor drainage improvements.
Construction is expected to take four to six weeks and will require temporarily closing Clubhouse Drive at Highway 59 for brief periods of time.
“Your patience and understanding are greatly appreciated while we complete this project," Public Works Director Mark Acreman said.
