Downtown Fairhope is a picturesque town full of shops, restaurants and art galleries but for one weekend in March, it transforms into one of the largest art festivals in the region. The 72nd Annual Fairhope Arts and Crafts Festival takes over downtown Fairhope March 15-17.

The fine art show attracts more than 200 artists from across the U.S. and an estimated 300,000 visitors.

Along with the wide range of fine art, crafts and photography, visitors can enjoy live entertainment or a bite to eat at the festival food court or one of the many local restaurants downtown. The festival is fun for the whole family and the youngest art lovers can participate in hands-on activities and create art at the Children's Art Tent.

Things to Know Before You Go

The Fairhope Arts and Crafts Festival opens Friday, March 15 at 10 a.m. and runs through Sunday, March 17 at 5 p.m. The festival is free to attend.
