Icie Lee Smith Goodman, age 81, a lifelong resident of Foley, passed away Oct. 4, 2012 after a brief illness.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Deborah Ann Brannon; son, Wayne Brannon; granddaughter, Angela Mirabile; sister, Lois Smith Callaway; and brother, Obie Lee Salter. She is survived by daughters, Katherine Brannon Lowery (Tom) and Karen Troup Morrow (Brian); son, Rex Brannon; sister, Ethell Goram; 11 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Ms. Goodman will forever remain in the memory of her children and family and will be truly missed. The family will receive friends at Pine Rest Funeral Home on Monday, Oct. 8, 2012 from 6-8p.m. Graveside services will at held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 9, 2012 at Pine Rest Memorial Park. The family extends special thanks to the wonderful, caring people of Covenant Hospice in Foley and Pensacola.
