Mr. and Mrs. Robert R. Hauser announce the engagement of their daughter, Lisa Nicole Hauser, to Thomas Orville Cole II, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas O. Cole of Taft, Tenn.
The bride-elect is a graduate of Fairhope High School and Auburn University. She was employed as a special education teacher with Cobb County Schools in the metro Atlanta area.
She is the granddaughter of Nellie Murphy of Foley and Harry Murphy, Fred Hauser and the late Grace Hauser.
The prospective bridegroom is a graduate of Lincoln County High School and Auburn University. He works at the Linbeck Group.
He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Pete Foti and the late Mr. and Mrs. O.B. Cole.
The couple will exchange vows at 4 p.m. Oct. 6, 2007 at St. Francis at the Point Episcopal Church in Point Clear.
