Barbara Jane Hunt, 69, of Foley, died Friday, June 15, 2007 at her residence in Foley.
She graduated from Sullivan High School in 1956 and St. Anthony’s School of Nursing in 1959. She retired from Evansville State Hospital in 2003.
She then moved to Foley in 2004 and became a member of the Foley United Methodist Church, a member of the Foley United Methodist Church Lydia Club and a member of the Red Hat Society.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Hansel and Dorothy Story.
Survivors include her husband of 49 years, Jack E. Hunt of Foley; daughter, Lora A. Goudreau of Indianapolis; son, Jon J. Hunt of Evansville, Ind.; sister, Betty Jean Young of Naples, Fla.; brother, Hank Storey of Minneapolis; three grandchildren, Kyle Goudreau, Tyler Goudreau and Kelsey Goudreau.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, June 18 at Foley United Methodist Church. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, June 19 at the church with Dr. Lance Moore and the Rev. Jim Tiler officiating. Burial will follow at Center Ridge Cemetery in Sullivan, Ind.
