SPANISH FORT, Ala. — Vince Hughes, a certified mortgage planner with First Gulf Bank, has recently transferred from their Resource and Support Center in Summerdale to the Spanish Fort Branch located next to the Eastern Shore Centre.

With more than 18 years in the Mortgage and Banking industry, Hughes provides expert mortgage planning advice and mortgage loan products for those looking to purchase, build or refinance a home. His experience includes having started and successfully run a mortgage broker business as well as working for a national mortgage lender.

He works closely with, and understands all facets of the mortgage business (origination, processing, underwriting and closing).

“Being able to explain and simplify the mortgage process, and fixing problems before they occur allows my clients to focus on the excitement and joy of moving into their new home, rather than the uncertainties and frustrations so many people associate with getting a mortgage,” Hughes said.

A believer in the team approach to business, Hughes provides excellent communication and support for all of his customers involved in the home buying process. That includes foremost his client, but just as important is their realtor or builder, the appraiser, attorney or title company, insurance company, or any other party that plays a role in bringing his client's home purchase or construction project to fruition.

“I am passionate about the mortgage business, because it allows me to be an advisor and servant to those who want to plan and implement a mortgage strategy that will serve their current and future needs while maximizing their potential for wealth creation,” he said.

Hughes lives in Fairhope and is married with two children.

He is a graduate of the University of South Florida with a B. S. degree in business management and minors in economics and sociology.

He can be reached at his office on 251-621-2547 or on his cell phone 251-213-4619.
