Drew B. Howes, a native of Huntington, W.Va., a resident of Gulfport, Miss., and Elberta, died Friday, April 11, 2008.
He was a veteran of World War II and Korea. He survived Hurricane Katrina and was a loving husband.
Survivors include two daughters, Fredna (Derrell) Netterville of Gulfport, Miss., and Ruth Hugo of Elberta; brother, Chad Howes of Pensacola, Fla.; four grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Graveside services were held Tuesday, April 15 at Barrancas National Cemetery, Pensacola, Fla.
The family requests memorial donations be made to the American heart Association.
Arrangements are by Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Homes & Crematory Inc., Foley.
