Music lovers and animal advocates alike will have something to howl about when the Hound Dog Music Fest returns April 25, bringing live entertainment, food and fundraising to downtown Fairhope.
The event, hosted by the Baldwin Humane Society, is set for 4 to 9 p.m. at the Halstead Amphitheater, 450 Fairhope Ave. Organizers promise a tail-wagging good time, with all proceeds benefiting the nonprofit’s mission to rescue and rehome animals across Baldwin County.
The festival will feature performances by Rollin in the Hay, Fly by Radio and Ayers Bros. Band, offering a mix of sounds sure to get the crowd barking for more. Attendees can also enjoy a variety of food trucks throughout the evening.
Guests are encouraged to bring their own beverages and chairs to settle in for the show. Organizers note there will be no will call available, and the event will take place rain or shine.
General admission tickets are $50 and can be purchased at http://events.humanitix.com/hound-dog-music-fest-2026. More information about the organization is available at www.baldwinhumane.org.
Founded in 1979, the Baldwin Humane Society — formerly known as BARC — was the first animal advocacy group in Baldwin County and operates as a no-kill adoption agency. The 501(c)3 nonprofit relies entirely on donations, receiving no government funding, and works to reduce pet overpopulation through spay and neuter programs, education, rescue and adoption efforts. Each year, the organization rescues, rehabilitates and finds homes for hundreds of abused, abandoned and neglected animals.
Sponsorship opportunities remain available for those looking to lend a paw to the cause.
