Lonnie David Horton, 54, a native of Fairhope and a resident of the Horseneck community of Bay Minette, died Saturday, Oct. 3, 2009 at Thomas Hospital.
He was a machine operator at Standard Furniture.
Survivors include his wife, Patricia “Pat” Milstead Horton of Horseneck; two children, Justin Lee (Tara Nicole) Horton of Pensacola, Fla., and Buffy Ann (David L.) Johnson of Bay Minette; three brothers, Kenneth “Mutt” Wayne Horton of Stapleton, John “Butch” Horton of Rabun and John B. Horton Sr. of Texas; four sisters, Shirley Ann Voiles of Rabun, Jackie Parker of Marlow, Ann Marie and Beverly Magtatws, both of Texas; and one grandson, Tyler Blake Horton of Bay Minette.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 7 at Full Power Holiness Church with the Rev. Joe Welch and the Rev. Helen Stewart officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant View Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Pete Burger, Micha Crawford, Steve Benton, Rayford Tuberville, Tommy Milstead, Randy Voiles, Ricky Reed and John Reed. Honorary pallbearers were Barry Phylaw and Terry Phylaw.
Arrangements are by Norris Funeral Home, Bay Minette.
