The North Baldwin Chamber of Commerce is gearing up to host its 4th Annual Home & Food Expo, promising a showcase of home products and services, along with specialty food items to take home.

The event is set for June 14 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the John F. Rhodes Civic Center. This year's addition of specialty food items aims to satisfy cravings while highlighting home improvement options.

The expo features more than 25 vendors covering everything from DIY projects, cleaning services, electricians and internet providers to insurance, lawn care, painting tips and gardening experts. Organizers expect homeowners, renters and those looking to build to find helpful information and resources tailored to North Baldwin's needs.

Visitors can enjoy demonstrations, giveaways, raffle prizes every 30 minutes and free swag bags while supplies last. The "passport to prize" offers a chance to win a grand prize sponsored by North Baldwin Utilities — a Buckstone 4-gallon Freedom Fryer with all the accessories.

A new feature this year includes a cooking demonstration by Bay Minette's own Martha Ryan at 11 a.m., while Lucy Greer from Greer's Markets will sign her new cookbook "Lucy Cooks" from 10 a.m.-noon.

"On behalf of the North Baldwin Chamber of Commerce, we aim to bridge our community by providing events that will benefit our North Baldwin residents," said North Baldwin Chamber Executive Director Kristina Pittman. "The Home & Food Expo is a great platform to connect local home resources with the members of our community."
