Holy Spirit Thrift Store donates to Baldwin Repair

GULF SHORES, Ala. — Holy Spirit Thrift Shop recently made a donation of $20,000 to Repair Baldwin, a joint initiative of Ecumenical Ministries and Habit for Humanity to repair existing homes of persons with limited income in Baldwin County.

Volunteers make basic repairs to maintain homes. prevent further deterioration and restore them to livable conditions at moderate expense and effort.

The Thrift Shop is an outreach ministry of Holy Spirit Episcopal Church in Gulf Shores. Located at 6786 Highway 59, Gulf Shores, Holy Spirit Thrift Shop is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday and 10 am to 1 p.m. Saturday. Proceeds from the sale of donated clothes, furniture, books, lines and small household goods benefit nonprofit charitable organizations in Baldwin County.
