Holy Spirit gives $5,000 grant to Alabama Free Clinic

GULF SHORES — Holy Spirit Thrift Shop recently awarded a $5,000 grant to the Alabama Free Clinic which provides quality medical to adults who are without insurance in Baldwin County.

Alabama Free Clinic has clinics in several Baldwin county locations, including Bay Minette, Robertsdale and Gulf Shores. For specific clinic hours and locations, interested individuals may visit www.Alabamafeeclinics.org or call 251-937-8096.

“The Thrift Shop is delighted to support organizations such as the Alabama Free Clinic through our outreach efforts,” Thrift Shop Chair Millie Ericson said. “Our ability to provide these funds is due to the wonderful services of our volunteers and the contributions of gently worn clothing, household goods and furniture from the community.”

The Holy Spirit Thrift Shop is located at 6798 Highway 59 in Gulf Shores. Hours are Tuesday through Friday 10 a.m.-4 p.m. and Saturday, 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Donations are accepted until 30 minutes prior to closing on these days.
