This fascinating museum will definitely take you back in time, as you stroll through the first hospital to serve southern Baldwin County, Alabama. The facility was in "operation" from 1936 until 1958. You'll view the actual operating room, patient rooms and vintage medical equipment. All artifacts featured are from the an earlier era of medical technology, authentic to the time period during which this hospital was in operation.
The museum is open Monday through Friday from 10 am to 4 pm. Admission is FREE.
