Sarah Elizabeth “Beth” Holland and Cpl. Macky James, USMC; were united in marraige Dec. 18, 2007 at First Assembly of God in West Monroe, La. Pastor Brad Jackson officiated the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Charlotte Holland of Stockton and the late Mark “Dan” Holland. Grandparents are Jean Underwood of Monroe, La., and the late Melton Gregory, and Carl and Betty Holland of Bay Minette.
She is a graduate of Baldwin County High School and received her associate of arts degree from Faulkner State Community College in 2006. She attendsthe University of Louisiana Monroe.
The bridegroom is the son of Stephen and Dawn James of West Monroe, La. Grandparents are Linda Ricks of West Monroe, Charles and Peggy Canterberry of Swartz, La., and the late Mr. and Mrs. Alvin “Buck” James.
The bridegroom is serving in the U.S. Marine Corps and is stationed in Japan.
The couple honeymooned on a cruise to the Bahamas.
