Verda L. Hobbs, 90, of Brooksville, Fla., died Thursday, April 12, 2007 at the Hernando Pasco Hospice Care Center, Brooksville, Fla.
She was a resident of the area for the past 10 years before coming from her native area of Foley and was a frequent visitor to the Vero Beach area.
She was a domestic in private homes and enjoyed sewing, needlework and gardening.
Survivors include two daughters, Treva Stephenson of Vero Beach, Fla., and Odessa Andersen of Brooksville, Fla.; four grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and six great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be from noon to 2 p.m. with funeral services at 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 17 at Pine Rest Funeral Home in Foley. Burial will follow at Pine Rest Memorial Park.
