Mr. and Mrs. Terry Hilyer of Fairhope announce the engagement of their daughter, Kelli Leigh Hilyer of Fairhope, to Charles Jennings Wright of Montgomery, the son of Catherine Persons, and Mr. and Mrs. Myles Wright.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Earl Hilyer of Fairhope and the late Muriel Hilyer.
She is a graduate of Alabama School of Math and Science and Birmingham Southern College where she received a degree in English and journalism. She is employed by The Demopolis Times.
The prospective bridegroom is the gradnson of Catherine Persons of Montgomery.
He is a graduate of Alabama School of Math and Science and will graduate from the University of Alabama in December with a degree in management information.
The couple will exchange vows July 21, 2007 at St. Francis Episcopal Church in Point Clear.
They plan to live in Demopolis.
