Henry W. Baron Jr., 75, a native of McComb, Miss., and resident of Spanish Fort, died Saturday, June 4, 2011.
He was active in the Spanish Fort community, a past president of the PTA, a past president of the Lions Club, a former Spanish Fort Fire Chief, and a member of the First Baptist Church of Spanish Fort.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Georgia Barron.
Survivors include two daughters, Brenda (Mark) Brantley of Spanish Fort and Gael (Grady) Schaeffer of Covington, La.; two sons, Hank (Alice) Barron of Spanish Fort and Jack Barron of Mobile; nine grandchildren, Adam M. Brantley, Ryan K. Brantley, Henry D. Barron, Brett G. Barron, Ashley Schaeffer Leach, Emilie Schaeffer, Joey Schaeffer, Marcie Schaeffer and John Schaeffer; two great-grandchildren, Tyler Hymel and Averi Barron; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation begins at 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 8 at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Daphne, with funeral services at 11 a.m. from the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow at Jubilee Memorial Gardens.
