Frank Hellmich, 87, a native of Indiana, and a resident of Foley, died Tuesday, Nov. 4, 2008 at his residence.

He was the owner and operator of Frank’s Automotive for 36 years. He was a member of St. Margaret Of Scotland Catholic Church for 79 years. He was a volunteer firefighter and chief in Foley, a member of the V.F.W. Post 5658, Elberta, and a member of the American Legion Post 99, Foley. He loved fishing and gardening.

Survivors include his wife, Kitty Hellmich of Foley; three sons, Robert Hellmich, Ralph (Jo ) Hellmich and Gary (Beth) Hellmich, all of Foley; four grandchildren, Kristin Roberson, Kate Hellmich, Kurt Hellmich and Neal Hellmich; two great-grandchildren; brother, Joe Hellmich of Foley; numerous other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 6 at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Foley. Rosary will be at 9:30 a.m. with Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 7 at St. Margaret Of Scotland Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Pine Rest Memorial Park.

The family requests memorial donations be made to St. Margaret Of Scotland Catholic Church Building Fund, 601 West Laurel Ave., Foley, AL, 36535.
