Helen Money, 78, born in Andalusia and a former resident of Foley, passed away in Spanish Fort on Saturday, Feb. 8, 2014.
She retired from the Fulton County Board of Education. She also served as principal of Central Park Elementary in East Point, Ga.
She is survived by her husband, Bill Money. They would have celebrated their 58th wedding anniversary on Friday, Feb., 14, 2014; one nephew, Hollis (Carolyn) Smith of Spanish Fort; and one niece, Linda (Houston) Gill of Bay Minette.
Graveside services will be held on Tuesday,
Feb. 11, 2014, at 1 p.m., at Lay Cemetery, with the Rev. John Pratt officiating.
