Helen Harriet McDonald Lovett, 88, born in Tampa, Fla. and a resident of Bay Minette, died Monday, June 17, 2013 at Oakwood Nursing Home.
She was a retired licensed practical nurse.
She is survived by one son, Bruce (Susan) Lovett of Bay Minette; one daughter, Jill (L.D.) Holt of Bay Minette; one brother, D.J. McDonald of Hernando, Fla.; two sisters, Deloris Johnson of Lakeland, Fla. and Gracie Nelson of Nashville, Tenn.; five grandchildren, Bridget (Kirby) Weaver of Bay Minette, Amy (John) Messer of Hernando, Fla., Brooke (Michael) Lenz of Mobile, April Shoemaker of Brandon, Miss. and Jason Nawara of Florida; and 14 great-grandchildren.
The funeral service will be held Friday, June 21, 2013, at 5 p.m., at the First Assembly of God Church, with the Rev. Chester Clark, the Rev. Fred Stallworth and the Rev. Jerry Hewett officiating. Burial will follow at Bay Minette Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Friday, June 21, 2013, from 3 until the 5 p.m. service at the First Assembly of God Church.
Pallbearers will be John Messer, Kirby Weaver, Jordan Weaver, Grant Weaver, Michael Lenz and Randy Brannan.
