Mr. and Mrs. Sidney J. Hawthorne announce the engagement of their daughter, Jennifer Anita Hawthorne, to Brian James Miller, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Daro G Miller.
The bride-elect is a graduate of Fairhope High School and Troy State University.
She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. A.G. Hawthorne of Daphne, and Mr. and Mrs. Charles Robinson of Fairhope.
The prospective bridegroom is a graduate of Dacula High School and Columbus State University.
He is the grandson of Shirley Marshall and the late James Marshall, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Miller, Judy Rector and the late Dennis Rector.
The couple will exchange vows at 5 p.m. Aug. 15, 2009 at Eastern Shore Baptist Church in Daphne.
