James Wallace Harbison, 60, a native of Salem, Ore., and resident of Foley, died Sunday, May 27, 2007, at a health care facility in Daphne.
He was preceded in death by his parents Samuel Harbison and Susana Walery.
He proudly served in the Oregon National Guard.
Survivors include son, James A. Harbison of Oregon; sister, Joan (Bob) Becker of Central Point, Ore.; nieces, Cheri Rice of Peoria, Ariz., and Lori Dey of Eagle Point, Ore.; nephew, DeRon Hammond of Medford, Ore., and many very close friends.
Memorials to celebrate his life are scheduled in both Alabama and Oregon. The Oregon memorial will be in June. The dates for the Alabama memorial will be announced.
