ROBERTSDALE, Alabama -- Participants in the Robertsdale Public Library’s Summer Reading Program gathered on Thursday, June 15 to celebrate the birthday of Nayla, the library’s resident canine.
Participants enjoyed games, including Pin the Tail on Nayla, popcorn, Sno-Cones and face painting, along with birthday cake and “dog food” (Reece’s Puffs cereal).
Library Director Cynthia Nall and staff host events Monday through Thursday throughout June at the library, including scheduled readings with Nayla and her friend Spencer, with special events every Wednesday morning at the PZK Hall and Thursday afternoon at the library.
Join the library staff and Sheriff Hoss Mack on Thursday for an old fashioned Roundup.
Events will wrap up on Thursday, June 28 with a Luau. For more information about this and other activities at the library, call 251-947-8960.
