John and Norma Rininger of Foley celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary Aug. 22.
The Riningers were married on Aug. 22, 1953 in Sharon, Pa.
They have four children, Sue Schweller of Wilmington, Ohio; Joan Whitten of Baton Rouge, La.; Julie McBride of Dayton, Ohio; and John E. Rininger of Kettering, Ohio. They have four grandchildren, Sam Whitten, Travis Schweller, Megan Kaplan and Casey Holtzman.
The Riningers also have three great-grandchildren, Bob and Boyd Holtzman and Laurel Schweller. John is retired from General Motors and served on the Kettering, Ohio City Council. Norma taught school in Ohio and raised four children.
