Kathryn Yates Hanson, 86, a native of Lineville and a resident of Foley for 56 years, died Thursday, May 10, 2007.
She retired after 31 years as a teacher at Foley Elementary School. She was a member of Foley First Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband of 60 years, Buren Hanson of Foley; daughter, Nan Hanson of Foley; two sons, Dana (Rena) Hanson, and Terry (Cheryl) Hanson, both of Foley; sister, Winnie Harrison of Lynn Haven, Fla., four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held at 1p.m. with funeral services to follow at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 12 at Pine Rest Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Pine Rest Memorial Park.
