Thomas Andrew Hammill Jr., 69, a resident of Birmingham and Daphne, died Sunday, June 3, 2007.
He was the founder of Hammill & Associates, Inc.
He was a member of Valleydale Baptist Church. He was also a member of the Shades Valley Lodge No. 829 Masonic Lodge.
He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Andrew Hammill Sr.
Survivors include his mother, Carolyn S. Hammill of Birmingham; his wife, Carolyn R. Hammill of Daphne and Birmingham; a son, Andy (Linda) Hammill of Charleston, S.C.; two daughters, Ree (Jim) Taylor of Birmingham, Michelle (Andre) Doucet of Birmingham; stepson, Bill Porter Jr. of Headland; six grandchildren, Gabrielle, Marlee and James Taylor, Isabella, Andre, and Mary Grace Doucet; sister-in-law, Susan (Jerry) Henry of Fairhope; three nephews, many other relatives and friends.
Graveside services and interment were held Wednesday, June 6, at Elmwood Cemetery in Birmingham.
The family requests memorial donations be made to the First Baptist Church of Fairhope building fund, or the charity of your choice.
Arrangements were made by Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Homes & Crematory Inc., Daphne.
