John William Hamilton, 81, a resident of Pleasant Plains, Ill., died Thursday, Feb. 26 in Foley.
He was a member of the American Legion in Pleasant Plains, Ill.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Charlotte Ross Hamilton.
Survivors include daughter, Mary (Bob) Alvarado of Woodbridge, Conn.; brother, Bob Hamilton of Salt Lake City; grandchildren, Kate and John Alvarado.
A memorial service will be held at a later date in Pleasant Plains, Ill.
Arrangements are by Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Homes & Crematory Inc., Foley.
