Mamie Lou Hadley, 78, died Tuesday, Nov. 6, 2007 at a Baldwin County hospital.
She was a native of Flomaton and a resident of Perdido for most of her life. She retired from Vanity Fair Mills after 26 years and attended the Pentecostal Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Louie Lee Hadley; a daughter, Melissa Allen; and a granddaughter, Christi Schmidt.
Survivors include four sons, Roger Hadley, Ronald Hadley, Joseph Hadley and Brian Hadley, all of Perdido; three daughters, Patsy Newhart and Peggy McDuffie, both of Perdido and Janice Williams of Nokomis; 18 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and a brother, Edmond Lambeth of Bay Minette.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 8 at the Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. Joe Welch officiating. Burial will follow at Bryars-McGill Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Patrick Schmidt, Jeremy Cox, Casey Williams, Jason Hadley, Jonathan Owens and Joshua Owens. Honorary pallbearers were Logan Williams and Josey Hadley.
Arrangements are by Petty Funeral Homes, Atmore.
