Mary Etta Shehan Hadley, 73, a native of Uriah and a resident of Atmore for most of her life, died Tuesday, Nov. 3, 2009 at a Pensacola hospital.
She was a loving mother and grandmother, a hard worker and attended Brook’s Memorial Baptist Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Robin Palmeri of Bay Minette and Wakeena Se’Corla “Corrie” Vickery of Atmore; four grandchildren, Donald Delmar Weaver of Atmore, Tyler Vickery of Atmore, Lauran Jordan of Atmore and Anthony Jordan Jr. of Atmore; brother, Buck Shehan of Bay Minette; and two sisters, Eloise Austin of Bay Minette and Frances Neuhard of Stafford, Va.
Visitation was held Thursday, Nov. 5 at Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home. Funeral services were held Friday, Nov. 6 at the funeral home with Sister Helen Stewart officiating. Burial followed at Oak Hill Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Mal McGhee, Josh Martin, Deno Rolin, Anthony Jordan, Vincent Palmeri and James Donald.
Arrangements were made by Petty Funeral Homes LLC, Eastside Chapel, Atmore.
