Elick Hadley, 64, a native of Rabun and a resident of White House Fork for the past 42 years, died Monday, May 10, 2010 at his home.
He attended the Pentecostal Holiness Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Rant and Nettie Hadley; an infant son, Frank Hadley; three brothers, Elsby Hadley, Marvin Hadley and Charlie Hadley; and a sister, Emma Jean Joiner.
Survivors include his wife of 44 years, Joyce Hadley of White House Fork; son, Franklin E. (Deborah) Hadley of White House Fork; one granddaughter, Kristen Nicole Hadley of White House Fork; one great-grandson, Gaberial Eugene Hadley of White House Fork; brother, Thomas Earl (Dotty) Hadley of Bay Minette; six sisters, Omree Banks of Chipley, Fla., Edna (Ellis) Miller of Molino, Fla., Mary (Paul)Pimperl of Bay Minette, Lillie Mae Church of Atmore, Bertha Mae (Oscar) Parnell of Fairhope and Sarah Mae (Don) Deis of Bay Minette; sister-in-law, Yvonne Hadley of Robertsdale; a number of nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held Wednesday, May 12 at White House Fork Pentecostal Holiness Church. Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 13 at the White House Fork Pentecostal Holiness Church with the Rev. Fred Stallworth and the Rev. John Lambeth officiating. Burial will follow at White House Fork Baptist Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Justin Robinson, Jamie Boyington, Wade Cooper, Wayne White, Tommy Parnell, Brandon Buck, Rodney Hadley, Doug Parnell, Stevie Parnell and Ricky Salter.
Arrangements are by Petty Funeral Homes, LLC Eastside Chapel, Atmore.
