Plans are being made by the faculty of the Gulf Shores High School to select a teacher from the school to receive a check for $1,000 for his/her outstanding contribution to the school. Davey Jones, a local resident who has been very generous with his contributions to the Gulf Shores Woman’s Club, will be donating the check to the club to be able to reward a teacher along with the student scholarships that the club   gives each year.
