Gulf Shores City Schools students participated in hands-on activities during the Earth Day celebration April 24, at Gulf Shores Middle School. The event welcomed children from pre-K through fifth grade and featured 11 community booths and 14 student-led booths. Students engaged in activities including wildlife interaction, seed planting, upcycled bracelet-making, oyster shell painting, CPR demonstrations, face painting and temporary tattoos. The day brought together students, parents and community members for a variety of environmental and educational experiences.
