Gaining recognition while entertaining professionally across the Gulf Coast over the last several years, Loper mixes rock, country, blues and folk music to create his unique musical style.
Together with his band of well-traveled musicians he’ll deliver beach flavored tunes with a Southern twist.
Made up of Mobilian Alice Grayson on drums, Fairhope native and recent University of Southern Mississippi graduate Allen Nobles on bass, along with Morris Barosa on electric guitar, this band is looking to break into the big time.
With thousands of performances on the road, including opening for country artist Tanya Tucker, entertaining is Loper’s specialty He knows how to excite a crowd with the way he blends so many different genres.
Loper finds common ground with the audience and infuses his own flavor. If you haven’t heard him perform at Lulu’s, Flora-Bama, Jimmy Buffett’s Margaritaville Café in New Orleans, the Red Line Café in Birmingham or somewhere in between, then you are in for a special treat.
After enjoying local success of his debut album, “Take Me Home,” Loper released his second studio project, “Keep on Growin’.”
Popular tracks include “Grain of Salt,” “Love Changes Everything,” “Simple Life” and “You’ve Always Got Me.”
This album springs to life with the wandering bass line and manic drum beat.
Jimmy Buffett’s Radio Margaritaville on Sirius XM Radio added the song “Shreveport to L.A.” from “Keep on Growin’” to their regular music rotation.
A loyal fanbase follows Loper and his band to venues both large and small.
This family friendly casual evening is an opportunity to relax in the fresh air and find out what the attraction is.
Pack up your friends and family and enjoy a show for all ages. Bring a blanket or lawn chairs and claim your spot on the Civic Center back lawn.
In case of rain, the fun will move inside.
