GULF SHORES, Ala. –  The “Friends” of the Thomas B. Norton Public Library installed the Officers for 2012-2013 at the meeting \May 15, 2012.  The officers, from left,  are: President Karl Porter, Vice President Carolyn Brake, Secretary Karla K. Shoemaker, Treasurer Rita Hanzlik and Historian Sandra Lee. 

Karl Porter is the first male President in the last 40 years that the Friends' have been in existence.  Karl's first order of business is to recruit more men to become Friends’ of the Thomas B. Norton Library located in Gulf Shores.

The Friends’ of the Thomas B. Norton Library meet the third Tuesday in the months of September, November, January, March, and May.
