GULF SHORES, Alabama — The City of Gulf Shores Recreation and Cultural Affairs Department will hold registration for all youth football, soccer, flag football and cheerleading leagues throughout the month of July.

YOUTH FOOTBALL AND CHEERLEADING: Youth football, flag football and cheerleading registration will be July 8–26. Youth football and cheerleading leagues are open to children ages 8–12, while the flag football league is limited to ages 5 and 6. Football player evaluations will be held at Sims Park on July 29 for ages 7-8, July 30 for ages 9-10, and August 1 for ages 11-12.

YOUTH SOCCER REGISTRATION: Registration for youth soccer is open to ages 5–14 and will be held from July 15 until August 2. Soccer player evaluations will be held at Sims Park on August 12 for ages 6–9 and on August 13 for ages 10–14. Players may register at the David L. Bodenhamer Recreation Center or online at gulfshoresal.gov. All players must present a copy of their birth certificate at the time of registration.
