GULF SHORES, Ala. — Gulf Shores elected officials will meet this afternoon for a regularly scheduled council meeting. The meeting will begin at 5 p.m. in council chambers.
Included in today’s meeting will be an Arbor Day proclamation and the transfer of a liquor license to the Gulf Shores Golf Club.
Assembly permits will be considered for the Gulf Shores Mardi Gras Association, the 2011 Hot Trot for ARC, the Alabama Coatal Triathlon and the Team Magic & Sports Commission.
New business being discussed includes city employee life insurange benefit coverage and the creation of a public park and recreation board.
Staff reports will be given as well.
