GULF SHORES, Ala – Gulf Shores United Methodist Church Mothers Day Out and Preschool has partnered with The Specialty Bakery in Gulf Shores for a Valentine’s Day fundraiser.  Proceeds will benefit the school by providing scholarships to families in need. The committee recently met to plan this event.  They are pictured from left to right – back row – Ed Solomon, Mary Ann Whatley, Lana Crawford, Madison Marshall, Julie Sims, and Lindsay Schumacher.  On the front row Parker McGuire is pictured with Brayden Barrett and Kayleen Harrison as they display the gourmet apples hand-dipped in layers of caramel, milk chocolate, and white chocolate both with and without pecans.  For information on the Gulf Shores United Methodist Church Mothers Day Out and Preschool program or to order a gourmet apple for $14 each please email nursecall1@hotmail.com, call 251.583.6352, or visit www.gulfshoresumc.org/#/children/preschool.  Each apple will be individually wrapped with an attached gift tag and delivered on Valentine’s Day.  The order deadline is Friday, February 11th.
