Baldwin County has always been full of athletic talent, and a plethora of players from the area have gone on to have successful careers at the collegiate and/or professional level.
So in this weekly series, I’ll be highlighting how former local stars fared each week, breaking down their performances and how their respective careers are progressing.

Personal Stats: 1 tackle
Entering his third year with the Broncos after seeing the field more last fall, Abrams-Draine recorded a tackle during a pivotal win over the Rams.
The former Toro also recovered a fumble during his team’s win over Jacksonville the week prior.

Personal Stats: 241 passing yards, 70% completion, 12 carries, 119 rushing yards, 2 total touchdowns
For the second time already this season, Creel recorded over 100 passing and rushing yards as the Gamecocks took down MTSU to kick off C-USA competition.
The former Pirate currently ranks third nationally in rushing yards among quarterbacks with 375 on the year, and he earned C-USA Offensive Player of the Week honors for this performance.
JSU now has a week off before it begins the mid-week portion of its schedule.
