The 2nd grade classes at Gulf Shores Elementary School are creating research posters using skills learned in Comprehension Toolkit. They researched rainforest animals on the internet, chose an animal to write about and used the class iPads to research their particular animal. They wrote facts that would be new information to learn for their classmates. One student, Shannon Todd (left in the picture) was delighted to have the animal she chose to research, a sugar glider, come to her classroom to visit. Debbie Wiist, a part-time instructor at GSES brought in her pet sugar glider to share with the class.
