John E. “J.E.” Grubbs, 79, a native of and life long resident of Elsanor, died Sunday, Sept. 16, 2007.
He served in the U.S. Army and was retired from Monsanto in Pensacola.
Survivors include his wife, Alice Grubbs; three daughters, Diane Rodriguez, Sharon Booker and Stacy Harris, all of Elsanor; son, John Grubbs of Mobile; two sisters, Carrie Vance of Robertsdale and Dottie Sue Mitchell of Pensacola, Fla.; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, Sept. 19 from the chapel of Mack Funeral Home. Burial followed at Bethel Baptist Cemetery in Robertsdale.
Pallbearers were Chris Rodriguez, Shane Blanco, Greg Harris, Kevin Albritton, Thomas Pierce and Lloyd Merchant.
The family requests memorial donations be made to the Little Sisters of the Poor, Mobile.
Arrangements were made by Mack Funeral Home and Crematory, Robertsdale.
