Grover Eugene Robinette, 87, a native of Roane County, Tenn. and resident of Gulf Shores, passed away Friday, Aug. 9, 2013.
Mr. Robinette truly enjoyed fishing, and at age 86 caught a king mackerel.
He was a member of the Lagoon Baptist Church, Gulf Shores.
He is survived by his daughter, Amy Gamble of Kingston, Tenn.; son, James E. Robinette of Leighton, Ala.; sister, Norma J. Hensley; and brother, J.R. Robinette both of Kingston, Tenn.; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Monday, Aug. 12, 2013, at 10 a.m., at Mack Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Bo Smith officiating. Visitation will be held from 9-10 prior to the service. Burial will be in the Bay Minette Cemetery.
