FAIRHOPE, Ala. — The Eastern Shore Art Center announces the 28th Annual Grand Festival of Art by the Bay will be held in downtown Fairhope on Oct. 17 and 18.

In the show’s new location at Fairhope Avenue and Section Street, Grand Fest will feature artists in a variety of mediums including painting, photography, pottery and ceramics, glass, jewelry and wood as well as local entertainment.

Grand sponsor for this year’s event is BancorpSouth.

The Grand Festival of Art supports the programs of the Eastern Shore Art Center, which is open to the public at no charge from Tuesday through Saturday.

ESAC showcases local, regional and national art exhibits on a monthly basis, offers classes for children and adults year-round and takes art to local schools and facilities for the elderly and disabled.
