St. Paul’s Episcopal Church will launch its newly installed Noack Organ Opus 170 with a free public concert featuring Grammy-winning organist Dr. Isabelle Demers at 3 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 4, 2026.

Demers, a Juilliard School doctoral graduate, is set to showcase the only-pipe instrument, a rarity in Baldwin County and a significant addition to the region’s cultural landscape.

“We are thrilled to bring Dr. Demers to the community in what I know will be an unforgettable afternoon,” said the Rev. Brent Norris, pastor of St. Paul’s Church. “When we installed the organ, one of our greatest hopes was that it would allow us to expand the cultural possibilities for the region and this concert is the first representation of that hope’s fulfillment.”

The organist serves as Associate Professor of Organ at McGill University and as Organist-in-Residence at the Church of St. Andrew & St. Paul in Montréal, Québec. Her international reputation has made her a frequent performer at major gatherings, including regional and national conventions of the American Guild of Organists, the Institute of Organ Builders and International Society of Organbuilders, the Royal Canadian College of Organists and the Organ Historical Society. She has released multiple CD recordings through Acis and Pro Organo.

St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, founded in 1924 and located at 506 N. Pine Street, is part of the Episcopal Diocese of the Central Gulf Coast. The congregation maintains active community outreach through Ecumenical Ministries of Baldwin County, Boys and Girls Club, Emergency Safe Shelter and a Summer Feeding Program. Sunday worship centered on Holy Communion is held at 7:30 a.m. and 10 a.m.
