Two of the biggest, most popular voices in gospel music have joined together and will bring their “Two Voices; One Message Tour” to the Gulf Coast on Nov. 14.
Orange Beach United Methodist Church welcomes Guy Penrod and Jason Crabb to the Island, in a free concert beginning at 6 p.m.
Crabb, who has made numerous appearances on the Trinity Broadcasting Network’s “Praise the Lord, as well as performances at the Grand Ole Opry, the Brooklyn Tabernacle, World Harvest church and many other events across the country, is the former lead singer of the Crabb Family. He is probably most recognized for the song “Through The Fire” that has recorded by numerous Christian artists.
Known for both his singing and preaching ability, Crabb performed at the Billy Graham farewell crusade in New York.
Penrod, a native of Abilene, Texas and graduate of Liberty University, began his career singing backup for the likes of James Ingram, Garth Brooks and Amy Grant. He is best known, however for his worldwide appearances as part of the Gaither Vocal Band, which he joined in 1994.
Penrod left the Gaither Vocal Band in 2008.
