ROBERTSDALE, Ala. — Fresh water or salt water… that is the question?

And Josh Aubrey, 22, of Spanish Fort will answer that question as the winner of Campbell’s Hardware and Sporting Goods Cast-N-Camo contest.

Aubrey’s name was drawn on Friday, July 1 at the Robertsdale store and as the winner, he will receive an all-expenses paid half-day of fishing with Campbell’s owner Nelson Wingo and sportsman Gary Finch, host of “Gary Finch Outdoors” plus a a gift package of fishing supplies including: Shimano rod and Shimano reel, Igloo cooler, Browning filet knife, Calcutta sunglasses, Calcutta visor, Zoom and Berkley gulp bait, Calcutta jigs, two Campbell’s Hardware fishing shirts and Campbell’s koozies and travel mug.

“Depending on the winner's schedule and fishing preference, the trip will take place sometime this month in Baldwin County. This is the first time we have done this and we are so excited about it. I know it will be lots of fun for the winner, Gary and Dad,” said Ashley Kucera, coordinator of the contest.

This contest goes along with Campbell’s yearlong 65th Anniversary celebration. “We just wanted to show our customers how much we appreciate them and their support for the store by doing this contest.”

Upon hearing he had won, Aubrey said “I am really excited and looking forward to a good time. Ready to learn a few new techniques.”

As part of the fishing trip, Aubrey will receive a dvd of the trip from Finch and could possibly be featured on Finch’s show, airing on WEAR 3 on Saturday mornings at 5:30 a.m. and 5 p.m.

“We have known Gary for 10 years now and he has always been so supportive of our business and has done many in-store demonstrations for us. This will be a great experience for us,” said Kucera.

Finch, whose syndicated 30 minute show gives locals a taste of the best fishing and hunting places along the Gulf Coast, is a resident of Fairhope and has his own production company. For more info on Finch, visit www.garyfinchoutdoors.com or his Facebook page.
