Gillis Eugene Sluder, 61, a native of Knoxville, Tenn. and a resident of Fairhope, passed away Friday, March 13, 2015.
He is survived by his wife, Marie Sluder; daughters, Kellie (Gary) Sabin of Fairhope, Nicole (Bo) Wilson of Fairhope and Chasity (Danny) Powell of Loxley; son, Steven Myers of Fairhope; 12 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; brothers, Harold (Joan) Sluder of Mobile and Claude (Joy) Sluder of Point Clear; sisters, Charlotte (Tom) Repka of Fairhope, Sue (David) Leavins of Fairhope, Faye (Butch) Rabren of Point Clear and Lisa Bass of Point Clear; nieces, nephews and other loving relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, March 17, 2015, from 12:30 until 1:30 p.m., at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home in Fairhope.
Graveside services will be held Tuesday, March 17, 2015, at 2 p.m., in Brook Cedron Cemetery.
