Bessie L. Giles, 79, a native of Baldwin County and a resident of Summerdale, died Wednesday, May 2, 2007.
She was retired from Solutia in Foley and was a member of Summerdale Assembly of God Church.
Survivors include five daughters, Delores Burton of Foley, Doris Tinson of Ithaca, Mich., Dora Rowell of Foley, Jewell Cline of Summerdale and Donna Patterson of Robertsdale; son, Keith Giles of Summerdale; four sisters, Sybil Burnett of Mobile, Carolyn Wells and Virginia Allen, both of Summerdale; and Marilyn Beck of Godley, Texas; four brothers, David Maulden of Elba, J.R. Maulden of Pelahatchie, Miss., Lavon Maulden of Picayune, Miss., and Clinton Maulden of Silverhill; 16 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, May 6 at Mack Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, May 7 at Robertsdale Assembly of God with the Rev. Herbert Sawyer and the Rev. Michael Lynn officiating. Burial will follow at Rock Cemetery in Robertsdale.
